Erin Page is a wife, mom of three, lifelong member of the Oklahoma City community and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She is managing editor of MetroFamily Magazine, where she continually seeks to more fully represent all the beautiful families who call Oklahoma City home and report on the issues most impactful to them.

Erin has received numerous national awards for her reporting on foster care, immigration, mental health, education, race equity in schools and human trafficking, as well as for the podcast she co-hosts, Raising OKC Kids. She is noted for her focus on highlighting topics like talking with kids about racism, local resources for LGBTQIA+ youth and understanding Indigenous history and impact on modern society.

Erin received the 2021 Clarus Award, bestowed annually on a member of the media for fairness in reporting by Public Relations Society of America, Oklahoma City. The same year, MetroFamily was named the National Association of Mental Illness, Oklahoma City, media outlet of the year.

At the age of 39, Erin was diagnosed with a rare, unexpected heart condition necessitating the placement of a pacemaker/defibrillator; she uses her story to encourage other moms to care for their physical and mental health and to champion access to physical and mental healthcare for those who cannot afford it.

The Page family serves several local nonprofits together and advocates for safe, affirming spaces for members of the LGBTQIA+ community within the United Methodist Church. They are active members of Quail Springs United Methodist Church. Erin also serves on the board of Sisu Youth Services and as a committee member for ReMerge. She previously served on the board for Infant Crisis Services, is a past president of Public Relations Society of America, Oklahoma City and served as a member of Deer Creek Public Schools’ Inclusivity Committee.
