President Jeanie Webb is a gifted 21st–century leader who brings more than 25 years of experience as an administrator and faculty member. Among her numerous capabilities, Dr. Webb is relationally driven, values emotional intelligence, and brings an inordinate amount of energy, passion, and joy to her work. Her extensive knowledge in higher education builds mutual trust across the educational and political landscape and her spirited leadership is highly inspirational and motivational both on campus and in the community.

Under her influential leadership, Rose State College has solidified itself as one of the premier community colleges in the state of Oklahoma and the greater region. By means of academic excellence, community partnerships, educational pathways, and workforce development, Rose State continues to vastly expand its footprint and experience exponential growth.

Dr. Webb serves on numerous boards and committees in the community including: the OETA Regular Authority Board, Creative Oklahoma Board, State Advisory Board for the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce Small Group Advisory Board, and the Oklahoma Governor’s Business Roundtable. She was also a member of Leadership Oklahoma Class VIII, the 72nd ABW COMMSTAR Class, the 552nd ACW Honorary Commander Program, and the TACAMO Navy Community Leadership Program.

During her administration, the College has invested more than $36 million in infrastructure upgrades. Recent accomplishments include receiving a $900,000 EDA (Economic Development Association) grant and a generous $1.3 million dollar donation from Dick and Glenna Tanenbaum for the establishment of the Tanenbaum Aerospace and Cybersecurity Center, housing Oklahoma’s first Center of Workforce Excellence (CWE). In addition, she also helped secure $9.4 million dollars in ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds for the expansion of Rose State’s nursing program, doubling the number of nurses the College can output into the workforce over the next five years.

Earlier this year, Dr. Webb was recognized as one of only 13 college presidents from across the United States with the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction. In honor of her positive impact, the Rose State College Board of Regents recently unanimously approved the naming dedication of the newly constructed, state-of-the-art, student union as the “Jeanie Webb Student Union.”
