Sr. Development Coordinator, OSU Foundation
Rachel Benbrook graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2013. She went on to receive a master’s degree in political communications from the University of Leeds, England. She also obtained a graduate certificate in hidden student populations in higher education from Oklahoma State University.
Currently, Rachel works for the OSU Foundation at OSUOKC as the Regional Coordinator, where she works in development, and provides support for fundraising for student scholarships.
In her spare time, she volunteers with many various community groups in the Oklahoma City area, including the Junior League of Oklahoma City, and The Lyric Theater. She volunteers for the YWCA and serves as a volunteer hospital advocate on the sexual assault team. She is also a volunteer with the local nonprofit The Spero Project, which helps newly resettled refugees in Oklahoma. Rachel has been tutoring a member of the community for five years through the program and is proudly assisting her with her up and coming United States citizenship exam.
Rachel was named the Alpha Delta Pi woman of the year in 2024 for Oklahoma City Panhellenic Organization and served as the 2024 co-chair for Allied Arts young professionals’ fundraiser and art show, ARTini, as well as several other arts organizations.
She was a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL program, Class 16, where she engaged in leadership development, and community service.
In 2023, she was named one of 50 Women in the state of Oklahoma who are making a difference by the Journal Record.
This year Rachel was accepted to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Second Century Board.
In her additional free time, she makes pottery, spends time with family, friends, and her two beloved dogs, Snoopy and Molly!
