Brandi Garner, Former CEO of the Oklahoma County Detention Center, is committed to building a safer Oklahoma County through leadership focused on accountability, rehabilitation, and community partnerships. With nearly a decade of experience, she combines operational expertise with a vision for positive change, improving the lives of staff, residents, and the public alike.
Now serving as the Chief of Intelligence for the Office of Inspector General/Department of Corrections, Brandi leads efforts to combat criminal activity with ties to the prison system. She oversees intelligence analysts and agents who work closely with law enforcement across the state to identify and disrupt criminal gang operations, contraband networks, and other security threats. Her expertise in intelligence, law enforcement, and strategic leadership continues to shape public safety and correctional operations statewide.
Garner has held various leadership roles throughout her career, including positions with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center.
Working closely with community, judiciary, and law enforcement partners, Garner has implemented strategies that reduce the jail population, enhance safety, and improve operational efficiency. Her approach reflects a dedication to serving both the agency and the community with integrity and compassion.
Outside of work, Garner enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and doting on her beloved dog. Her husband, a law enforcement officer and US Air Force Veteran, and their two sons, both football players, keep life busy and fulfilling. Known for her collaborative spirit and strategic leadership, Garner is committed to building trust within her organization and the community, ensuring a safer and more hopeful future for Oklahoma County.
