Dr. Lori Johnson-Vegas is a Subject Matter Expert, Doctoral Chair, and Instructor for Liberty University’s (LU) School of Business. She is also a Human Resources (HR) Consultant and a Personal and Professional Life Coach. Lori has Business and Industry experience in the HR profession with several Fortune 500 companies. In addition to LU, her Higher Education experience includes working for Penn State University. She is a professional speaker with numerous speaking engagements as a Keynote Speaker, Seminar Presenter, Workshop Facilitator and Master of Ceremonies.
Lori is the Founder/CEO of the Oklahoma Military Spouse Network and serves on the Board of Advisors for several national and local non-profits. Lori is a certified Master Resilience Trainer for the Air Force and a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
Lori’s education includes: Penn State – HR Development/Workforce Education (PhD) and Communication Studies (BA); Wilmington University – HR Management (MS). She has Certificates of Completion from Villanova and University of Tampa. She is the 2023 American Mothers, Inc. “National Mother of the Year”, 2024 Oklahoma “Woman of the Year Honoree”, 2014 AFI Tinker AFB Spouse of the Year, and Penn State’s “Achieving Woman of the Year” 2012.
Lori is known for her love of Butterflies, LAUGHTER, Tap Dancing, and being #Nervageous! She has spent her entire life in relocation mode. Her father was career Air Force and the family moved every two years. She is married to CMSGT (USAF ret) Kevin Vegas and is the proud mom of Lance and Justin.
