Morning Anchor KFDX Channel 3, Wichita Falls
Emily Faith is an Oklahoma native and professional journalist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma in May of 2024.
While in college, Emily was an anchor and reporter for OU Nightly, GameDayU, and also hosted Sooner Sports Pad live on ESPN+. She traveled with the Oklahoma Football team and also Oklahoma Women’s Gymnastics team to cover their experience at the 2024 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics National Championship.
At the age of 20, Emily began working for the Oklahoma City Thunder as an In-Game On-Court Host. At the same time, she also became the Emcee for Four-Time National Championship winning Oklahoma Softball team.
Emily went on to win several awards for her work in journalism at state and national levels.
At the National Broadcast Education Association Awards, she was named 3rd Overall in Sports Talent Anchor. By the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association, she was awarded 1st for Sports Journalism Story, 1st for Sports Broadcast Show (Big Friday Sports), 2nd for Sports Talent and 2nd for Sports Broadcast Show (Sooner Sports Pad). She also was an integral part of the OU Nighty broadcast that won a Collegiate Emmy (Heartland Emmy Chapter).
Beyond journalism, she has also been a brand ambassador and spokesperson for numerous non-profit organizations including the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Folds of Honor, the American Heart Association, and more.
After graduating, Emily became the Morning News Anchor for KFDX and currently lives in Texas.
