SVP/Director of Marketing & Business Development, Kirkpatrick Bank
As a military child who found her home in Oklahoma City, Kathy Frankenfield has built an impressive banking career spanning more than four decades. Currently serving as SVP/Director of Marketing & Business Development at Kirkpatrick Bank, she began her career at First National Bank & Trust in 1980. Kathy previously excelled as Director & Vice President of Private Banking at Kirkpatrick Bank. Her career has spanned financial reporting, credit analysis, compliance, and policy development while managing high-net-worth client relationships. Currently, she showcases Kirkpatrick Banks' expertise and vital community impact.
Kathy holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor in Finance from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a graduate of the Oklahoma Banker Association School of Banking and Leadership Oklahoma City Class 34. Kathy serves as past president of Leadership Oklahoma City Alumni Board and current board member of Leadership Oklahoma City.
Her commitment to community service is evident through her work with various organizations, including the American Red Cross, Rotary Club 29, and Juliette Low Leadership Society (Girl Scouts). She also serves as a Fund Trustee for the Oklahoma City Community Foundation and is a retired volunteer for Standardized Patients for the University of Oklahoma Clinical Skills Education Center.
When she is not working or volunteering, Kathy enjoys tending to her garden and listening to audiobooks. She lives with her husband Jim, a former commercial real estate broker, and together, they have two grown sons, a grandson, and a granddaughter.
