Entertainment Executive, Actress and Producer, Founder of Rock Paper Cannon
Rachel Cannon is an entertainment executive, actress, and producer with 25 years of experience in Los Angeles and more than 80 network television credits, including Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, and Mad Men. She spent six seasons on Fresh Off the Boat and recently appeared as the comedic relief in this year's acclaimed biopic Reagan.
In 2025, Rachel combined her network television experience and entrepreneurial spirit to launch Rock Paper Cannon, an independent television studio on a mission to create a comedy hub in Middle America. The studio focuses on high-quality, live-audience multi-camera sitcoms that celebrate authenticity, humor, and heart.
Before founding Rock Paper Cannon, Rachel served as Founder and CEO of Prairie Surf Studios, where she recruited major productions like Twisters and Tulsa King. Under her leadership, Prairie Surf generated over $300 million in economic impact and reshaped the global reputation of Oklahoma's film industry.
Rachel continues to collaborate with legislators at the state and federal levels to strengthen competitive film incentive programs. She also served on the State Chamber Board of Directors, championing business innovation and workforce development across Oklahoma. Her leadership has placed the state in the national spotlight, earning features in Variety, The Los Angeles Times, CBS Mornings, and The New York Times.
Cannon has been recognized as one of Oklahoma's Most Powerful Oklahomans, a Journal Record Most Admired CEO, and among OKC Metro's Most Influential, the Oklahoma Entertainment Power List, the 10th House Female Founders Collective, and 100 Women to Know in both America and Los Angeles.
