Duncan College Consulting

Born and raised outside of Louisville, Kentucky, Ann-Clore Duncan met the love of her life and husband of 33 years, Walt Duncan, during their college days at DePauw University in Indiana. After graduating with majors in English and communication, she joined Walt in Oklahoma. Following a two-year stint in Austin, the two have lived in Edmond since 1993 where they raised their three fabulous children, James, Perrin, and Emma.

When their children were young, Ann-Clore's passion for education shone through as homeroom mom, library volunteer, substitute teacher, and active PTO member. When the children were in high school, she began helping them, their friends, and their friends' friends with college applications. After five years, she opened Duncan College Consulting where she continues to work one-on-one with high school students and their families in their unique paths to college. Since founding her business in 2016, Ann-Clore has advised 387 seniors and she works with over 250 students annually. Her current clients are from Oklahoma, New Jersey, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Texas, and California.

In the community, Ann-Clore has served as president of the boards of Junior League of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Policy Institute, Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma, Oklahoma City University Societies, and Southern Hills Christian Church. She and Walt co-chaired the 2017 Allied Arts Campaign. She has also served on the DePauw University Board of Visitors, and for 14 years, she was chairman of the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum's Education Committee. She is currently on the executive committees of the Memorial and Museum and the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits.

Ann-Clore lives by the words Nelson Mandela spoke in a Massachusetts high school in 1990, "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."
