Amy Loftis-Walton is the Founder & Principal of The Vine, Growth Strategies. A consulting firm focused on Oklahoma’s economic impact through improved planning, partnerships, policy, and investment. In her previous role she served as Deputy Director for Business Development for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce where she worked to increase new domestic and foreign direct investment in the state. In May 2023, the announcement that 3Sun USA had selected Oklahoma for its first manufacturing facility in the United States was significant. She was honored to work alongside the team that brought the single largest foreign direct investment in manufacturing to the United States since the passage of the Federal Inflation Reduction Act. The project was the largest single investment in the History of Oklahoma. 

Amy served as Director of Government Relations and Strategic Initiatives, at the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology where she was an integral part of Oklahoma’s innovation ecosystem, from idea to the marketplace through strategy and investment. The agency’s innovative technology investments yielded significant financial returns for the state.

Prior to receiving her master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma she oversaw medical professional training programs for the international workforce in Central America, Europe, and the Middle East. 

This past year Amy was awarded Oklahoma’s Woman of the Year by the Journal Record and was recognized as one of the Metro’s Most Influential Oklahomans by 405 Business Magazine. In 2022 her accolades include the Innovation Advocate of the Year, and one of Oklahoma’s Most Innovative Women. She is a member of the US Global Leadership Coalition addressing critical issues such as supply chain and international trade. In recent years she has dedicated her time expanding the state’s energy portfolio by serving on the Executive Committee, for a multi-state initiative to grow the hydrogen economy, the Advanced Energy Technology Advisory Council, and her appointment to Oklahoma’s Advanced Mobility Council serving under the Secretary of Transportation. Her experience has enabled her to collaborate with governmental dignitaries, universities, entrepreneurs, c-suite executives, and various stakeholders worldwide.
